PI ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

THE ROTARY FOUNDATION

Every Rotarian has the opportunity to serve on one of the clubs various subcommittee’s.

We encourage all of our Rotarians to find their passion for Rotary through committee service.

Club Administration:

Local Service:

This local community service committee works to plan and promote club events that take place throughout the year, engaging the full club in volunteer efforts. Examples of these events include: Safe Steps, Here We Come A Caroling, Spring into Service, Service Above Self Award recipient selection, amongst other collaborative efforts.

Fellowship:

Public Image:

The Public Image Committee is generally responsible for overseeing all promotional and event marketing related activities for the club.  Some of those duties include: developing press releases, social media (Facebook and Instagram) posts, and website content for all club activities and events; developing and keeping up to date with club promotional materials such as the display board, clothing, handouts and promo materials

Youth & Literacy:

This group is responsible for identifying needs within the community that have emphasis on youth and/or literacy efforts and developing partnerships.  Some examples of these events include: Literacy Tea, Maine Student Book Award program, and Family Fun on the Field Day. Additionally, this committee is responsible for coordinating the annual Thesaurus Day.

Membership:

The Membership Committee is primarily responsible to actively attract, retain and engage members helping them to understand and experience the benefits of belonging to this International Service Organization, which provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our membership.  Some examples of these membership efforts include New Member drives, existing Rotary Round Up activities, and connectivity amongst members, mentors, sponsors and potential members.
