Rotary Raises Fundraising Event
The Rotary Raises Basket Raffle event is a new take on the Presque Isle Rotary Club’s annual fundraising event. Community businesses and organizations will be asked to donate raffle baskets, each one designed to reflect a different theme. Rotarians will be at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds during the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest on Friday and Saturday, August 22 & 23. Stop by to see us, purchase some tickets, and drop them in the bucket of the items you are hoping to win. Winning names will be drawn on Saturday evening.
The raffle is a chance to win these delightful prizes while contributing to the community projects being supported by this year’s proceeds.
Do you think your non-profit would be a good fit as a proceed partner for our event?
We are now accepting nominations for local organizations and projects to be one of 3 or 4 community-based proceed partners. Preference will be given to projects that benefit local youth, promote arts/cultural activity in the area, serve the broader community, and/or would be able to complete their project with the funds received; however, these are not requirements to apply for funding. The total amount to be awarded to each proceed partner will be dependent on the amount raised during this fundraising activity.
