COMING SOON!
PRESQUE ISLE ROTARY AMPHITHEATER
To celebrate 100 years of service, the Rotary Club of Presque Isle is excited to launch a community effort to construct a new, multi-purpose amphitheater near Riverside Park and Playground!
The Presque Isle Rotary Club has fundraised millions of dollars for community projects over several decades, supporting activities ranging from healthcare and economic development to local parks and youth sports, and a whole lot in between. For many years, members of the Presque Isle Rotary Club have discussed opportunities to build a lasting, permanent structure in Presque Isle: a symbol of our commitment to building and bettering our greater community.
As the club celebrates our 100th birthday in 2023, what better time to announce our fundraising efforts for a Presque Isle Rotary Amphitheater, located in downtown Presque Isle. With the recent growth and development of the Riverside area and ongoing community events, the amphitheater is a perfect complement. It will be surrounded by grassy, level ground which will provide ample seating for community gatherings. It will provide many opportunities to attract families from surrounding communities, and outside visitors, to discover what Presque Isle has to offer.
-
Community
BRSA, Inc has created a multi-use design concept for the amphitheater, allowing it to service as a gathering place for the community.
-
Development
The amphitheater will allow a permanent location for existing performing arts and opportunities to host new cultural events.
-
Growth
The PI Rotary Amphitheater stands as a symbol of our commitment to the community and its social and economic development success.
-
Attraction
We are hopeful this addition to the Riverside Park surrounding area will continue the positive momentum, promoting growth and attracting new businesses and people from outside the region.

How is this project being paid for?
This project is being paid for through in kind donations, monetary contributions by local businesses/organizations, individual donations and grants.
When will construction start?
Construction will begin once our fundraising total has been reached! The sooner we are able to raise funds, the sooner we can begin breaking ground.
How is this project different than previous constructions?
Many community buildings have been built in recent years, however none of them were specifically designed for concerts, performances, and other cultural events. This amphitheater will allow existing buildings to continue supporting their ongoing activities, while providing a better suited venue for summer concerts, theater programs, etc.
