PAUL HARRIS FELLOW RECOGNITION
Paul Harris pioneered the service club movement with the founding of Rotary International. Rotary fulfilled his dream of a worldwide organization of business and professional people. Continuing the legacy of our founder, the Paul Harris Fellow program recognizes individuals who contribute, to the Rotary Foundation and/or their generous, ongoing support of Rotary and their community.
Each year, the Presque Isle Rotary Club recognizes a few of our fellow community members and some of our own Rotarians with Paul Harris Fellowships. During this event -in the spirit of "service above self"- we recognize these individuals as Paul Harris Fellows for all they do in our community and in the world. In 2023, the Presque Isle Rotary Club will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary of awarding the Paul Harris Fellow recognition to Rotarians and community members alike. Our 2023 Paul Harris Event will be taking place November 9, 2023 at the Northeastland Hotel (downstairs). The social begins at 5:30pm and our program will begin at 6:16pm. Join us as we recognize 5 outstanding community members and Rotarians for their work in our communities locally and across the globe, and for their support of the Rotary Foundation!
