Rotary Literacy Month - March 2007 March is Rotary Literacy Month. Our club undertook two special projects in March to promote literacy. First was the purchase by each Rotarian of a children's book suggested by the local Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library children's librarian. Over 80 books were collected and donated for children to read and enjoy. Second was the promotion of the program "Feed the Need to Read" and providing Rotary book bags for children to carry books home from the library.

Presque Isle Rotary Club Auction 2006 Our 2006 Presque Isle Rotary Club Radio and Television Auction was extremely successful. The merchandise part of the auction raised funds to assist the Aroostook Agency on Aging, the ABC Academy, the Catholic Charities of Maine Thrift Store, the Presque Isle Police Department, the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club and the Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross.
