Aroostook River Fun Run a SUCCESS; Brings PI and Washburn Rotarians Closer WASHBURN, Maine -- A bike event was added to this year's Aroostook River Fun Run which took place Saturday, May 22, 2010. Paddlers and pedalers gathered at Washburn's Thomas Brewer Park for registration from 8-9:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. start. The eight-mile event took participants, either by boat or bike, along the river to the finish line at the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club. Houlton's Fred Ludwig made it a "three-peat", as he successfully defended his Fun Run overall title...

Presque Isle Rotary Club Invites Organizations to Submit Request for FundsThe Presque Isle Rotary Club is in the planning phase for the 63rd annual Rotary Auction, to raise funds for local charities and non-profit organizations.
