Click Fun Run Application to download the registration form. There are 11 canoe classifications, 11 kayak classifications, and 4 miscellaneous classifications available for you chose to participate. Registration fees are $10 to $15 dependent on age. Checks should be made payable to the Presque Isle Rotary Club and sent with the registration form to the Presque Isle Rotary Club, PO Box 641, Presque Isle, Maine 04769, ATTN Canoe Race Committee.
Race T-shirts guaranteed to first 50 registrants. The race will start three craft per minute beginning at 10AM. Life vests will be required and NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED IN ANY CRAFT. No animals will be allowed in any craft. The minimum age to participate will be 12 years when accompanied by an adult and 16 years if without an adult. The parent or guardian consent will be required for all minors.
The "experienced" class is for those paddlers who have finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any water race event in 2006, 2007 or 2008.
The "novice" class is for those paddlers who have NOT finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any water racae event in 2006, 2007 or 2008. In other words, the rest of us.
The "century", "senior" or "student" divisions are entered in addition to the classes above.
